First Snowfall. New Rochelle, New York, USA. November 12, 2013As I was looking out the window, the light rain changed to light snow--the first of the year. The dusting of snow on the colorful leaves was beautiful, and I knew I needed to move quickly if I wanted to capture it. I walked a couple of blocks down my street and entered the Twin Lakes Nature Study Reserve. There were interesting compositions all around, so I got to work. The snow on otherwise normal Fall scenes added that extra something.
