From the Journals...Kathmandu, Nepal, January 15, 1989
Our main order of business was applying for a visa extension. After arriving there, it only took 15 minutes. From there we went to the Stupa at Boudhanath to have a look around. I shot some pix, the first in about 10 days. I finally have some energy and motivation as the pain gradually leaves my foot (from peroneal tendinitis aggravated by a month of trekking the Annapurna Circuit). This is a very holy Buddhist site, and was full of worshippers circumnavigating the stupa in a counterclockwise direction in prayer. Comments
