From the Journals... Colva Beach, Goa, India. February 1, 1989
I got moving early and went down to observe and photograph the activity on the beach. By far the largest event going on was the bringing in and cleaning of the night’s fishing. I got lots of good pix. We retired to Joecon’s Restaurant again for breakfast. Like most meals, I left not wholly satisfied in terms of portions.
I returned to the hotel to do my laundry. With that out of the way, I went agin to Fred’s Bar where I spent the day writing cards and letters. I went in for a swim and some body-surfing. The surf was up today, and after unintentionally doing a somersault in a big wave, I thought I should quit while I was ahead.
