Córdoba, Spain.Royal Gardens 4 It was early spring, the weather was beautiful, and the flowers were out in full force. The Alcázar de los Reyes Católicos, or the Fortress of the Catholic Monarchs, in Córdoba is a feast for the eyes, both inside and out. I spent a morning exploring this wonderful setting, and really enjoyed the gardens. 

I imagined back to the time when Ferdinand and Isabella ruled the land and called this place their own. Yes, it’s good to be the King!
