Skyline at Dusk
Giralda and Cathedral at night.
I always like to find an elevated area where I can get a good view of my surroundings. These photos were taken from the top of Sevilla’s latest, and somewhat controversial, piece of public sculpture, Metropol Parasol, otherwise known as “Las Setas” (The Mushrooms).
This is an impressive architectural work that has undulating pathways on top that are open to the public. There are views in every direction, but I was most interested in the downtown area featuring the Cathedral and the Giralda.
