Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania.Crocodile Lunch and siesta passed quickly and before we knew it, 4:00 came and it was time for our boat trip on the Rufiji River.

This started out extremely hot at first, until we got going fast enough for the breeze to cool us down. Got some pix of hippos, crocs, and palm trees. The light was good. After 5, in the vicinity of Mbuyuni Camp, the birdlife was extraordinary--bee eaters, giant egrets, goliath herons, various plovers, fish eagles, vultures, yellow-billed- and open-billed storks, etc.

The return trip, with the sun not in my face, the breeze and temperature just right, and the great light, was absolutely perfect!
