Sunrise Surfers
Again, traveling with my buddy Roy. Byron Bay is a laid-back surfer’s mecca and we kind of got caught up in the spirit. We stayed at the Blue Iguana, watched surf videos, and took it easy for a couple of days enjoying the beach and the atmosphere. We even took surfing lessons, but I didn’t get very far because I injured myself jumping on the board and pulled an intercostal muscle on my first lesson. I had to be content with watching and photographing the surfers.
