Close-up, small dolls for sale in Saturday market. Otavalo, Ecuador.Dolls in Market Up at 6:30 again. A light rain as we were getting ready, but not enough to stop us. Our destination was the animal market, which was okay, but not as exciting as I had hoped.

As we wandered back to town, V was distracted by shopping, and I didn’t want to think about shopping or shooting until I had eaten breakfast, so we separated for a while.

Weaving for Sale, Saturday Market, Otavalo, EcuadorWeaving for Sale The photographic opportunities were many, and I shot 4 rolls this morning. The market is huge. Some is for tourists, but there are a lot of Otavaleños shopping as well.

It was fun looking around, mostly for pix, but also for a sweater. I got close, but couldn’t find exactly what I wanted. V went crazy shopping.
