It’s a Winner!
I am pleased to announce that my photo “Riverside Reflection” won First Place last night at the Westchester Professional Photographers’ Association Quarterly Image Competition.
The photograph was captured last summer in Seneca Falls, New York and features the abandoned Seneca Knitting Mills factory. It utilizes a technique called HDR, or High Dynamic Range photography, which allows a very wide range of light values from the darkest darks to the lightest lights to be compressed into a single image which makes the final photo appear closer to what our eyes actually see.
