Crowned PloverCrowned PloverCrowned plover, (Vanellus coronatus) in field of yellow flowers, Chudop Water Hole. Etosha National Park, Namibia. It was a busy afternoon at the office. We went to Chudop water hole, and sat for a couple of hours as the animals paraded through. A carpet of yellow flowers served as the background for many photos of zebra, giraffe, wildebeeste, blacksmith and crowned plovers, and striped mongoose. I shot about 5 rolls, enjoying the good light.
