Walking in the Footsteps of HistoryWalking in the Footsteps of HistoryMan walks on ruins of Philae (temple complex of Isis), Agilka Island. Near Aswan, Egypt. Our destination this morning was the ruins at Philae, and we were not alone. Again, the place was overrun with tourists. The light was not very good—already too strong and too much haze in the air. I shot some pix anyway.

It’s a nice spot, and the ruins are a slightly different style from what we’ve been seeing. We’re both feeling slightly ruined- and templed-out.
