Cypress SwampBald cypress knees in swamp. Barataria Unit, Lafitte National Park. Louisiana, USA. A very productive morning shooting in the Barataria Unit of Lafitte National Park. I spent about 3 hours on the Ring Levee trail and shot about 3 rolls of swamp material. I saw a barred owl and a piliated woodpecker.

I watched a film on the Mississippi delta region in the park’s Visitor Center. Very interesting as a scene-setter. Also good to get off my feet.
