Wildebeeste Herd At Water HoleWildebeeste Herd At Water HoleWildebeeste Herd At Water Hole (Connochaetes gnou) , Kumasinga Pan. Mkuzi Game Reserve, South Africa. Upon arriving in Mkuzi Game Reserve, we checked out the campsite, and then stopped in at a hide for a look. Saw a white rhino and zebra. Drove up to reception, and ended up booking huts again in Mantuma Camp, mainly for the convenience. Also, at $11.66 per night per person, it can’t be beat.

Drove to Kumasinga Hide, which turned out to be fantastic. It started with 2 white rhinos, and had brief visits from vervets, hadeda ibis, nyala, wildebeeste, impala, warthogs, more rhinos, and others.

Anderson made a great dinner with sliced steak marinated in ginger, and cooked with black soy beans, red peppers, and garlic. On the side--small dried fish done with the same ingredients.
