Augrabies Falls National ParkAugrabies Falls National ParkWaterfalls of Orange River at sunset. Augrabies Falls National Park, South Africa. I spent a little time reading and planning our itinerary, then started to cook dinner. I figured we could be done before the best light, and then not have to deal with cooking in the dark. This camp is remarkably insect-free, considering the proximity to water.

I went to the High Falls for some shots, but I’m not sure if the pix were that spectacular. The alpenglow on the mountains lasted less than 5 minutes.

Back in the site, I showered, then watched the stars for 45 minutes.
