Leopard in Tree BWLeopard in Tree BWAfrican Leopard (Panthera pardus pardus) in tree. Maltahohe, Namibia. Matthew, the owner, took us out to the leopard. Her name is Liza, and Matthew has had her since she was 1 month old. She is completely used to people. He introduced us, and we spent most of the afternoon playing with her and getting some really great photos. I even got her to go up on the tree twice. An amazing experience!

Her idea of a good time is jumping on someone’s back and nuzzling. She is in heat and was very amorous , presenting herself to me several times…

My back is still sore from the horseback incident, and perhaps aggravated by being jumped on by a leopard.
