From the Journals…Even More from Mandalay, Myanmar (Burma). January 23, 2011
She was feeling lazy, so I went on my own to the nearby Zeigyo Market, a sprawling place over many blocks. Lots of stuff for sale. I took some pix of people, and also of various items offered for sale. I don’t know what it is, but there is a growing collection of peppers in my image library. I’m not a fan of extremely hot food, but I do find peppers to be visually interesting. Maybe it’s the color, maybe the repetition of shapes.
