I read for a while, but then felt guilty for not trying to do anything while in Mandalay. I decided to take a walk to the nearby Shwekyimyint Paya (Pagoda). It was peaceful inside, even though there were about 150 people praying together. I think it was a silent meditation. There were a number of nooks, crannies, and shrines to explore.
