From the Journals…Lizard from Isla Española, Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. August 15, 1993

Lava LizardLava LizardLava lizard (Tropidurus delanonis), Isla Espanola. Galapagos National Park, Ecuador. A very productive walk on Isla Española’s Punta Suárez this morning. A “wet landing” (barely wet) and sea lions on the beach. Galapagos hawk, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, masked boobies, waved albatross. We finished up at a blow hole before returning to the beach. I shot 8 or 9 rolls--cloudy bright at first, turning in to full sun. This investment might even pay off. And, I’m having a good time. I just wish my throat wasn’t sore.
