Temple at TwilightYe Kyaung Buddhist Temple at twighlight. Hpa-An, Myanmar (Burma). I spent most of the afternoon hiding from the heat and talking to my fellow travelers on the balcony just outside my room. I walked down to the waterfront pagoda in hope of  sunset pix, but the stupa was blocked by palm trees. I took a few pix of boats, then changed my position to get the setting sun.

On the walk back, I came across the Ye Kyaung pagoda. The light was fading and flat by this time, so during post processing I added some contrast, sharpness, and saturation, then smoothed it out again.

Back at the hotel balcony, everybody was hanging out and swapping stories. It is an interesting international group here, ranging in age from mid-20’s to mid-60’s. Everybody here seems to be a veteran traveler. And here we are, just thrown together by chance. Part of the fun of travel for me is meeting cool, like-minded people.
