CourtyardCourtyard, Real Alcázar, Seville, Spain. I was wandering around in the Real Alcázar, or Royal Palace, in Seville. There were many impressive things to see here. One of the most inviting places was this courtyard.

This photo utilizes a technique called HDR, or High Dynamic Range photography, which allows a very  wide range of light values from the darkest darks to the lightest lights to be compressed into a single image which makes the final photo appear closer to what our eyes actually see. I took several different images and then merged them together using software.
