Battle StoriesBattle StoriesReliefs on stone telling of history, Angkor Thom. Angkor, Cambodia. In addition to the “big picture” scale of the ruins, there are lots of smaller details that should not be overlooked. I find the carvings on the walls depicting historic events to be very interesting. When you consider the number of ruins around the entire temple complex and figure that there is loads of room for these smaller carvings, we must be talking about hundreds of thousands of these. Just my guess—nothing official here!
