From the Journals… Still More from Trinidad, Cuba. February 5, 2017

Making MusicMaking MusicStreet musicians perform in Trinidad. Sancti Spíritus, Cuba. Around noon I found a restaurant behind the Casa de Música and had a ham and cheese pizza (they were out of chorizo, my first choice). I came back to the casa and took a nap. I am now in the hammock writing this. //

I went down to the Cubatours office to enquire about the local minibus, but the line was long and I didn't bother to wait. I walked up the block to investigate the Cafe Dulcinea. It looked promising for the future, but they didn't have iced coffee, so I passed for now. I ended up back at yesterday's cafe for an iced coffee and a chance to read some of the National Geographic magazine i have on my iPad.

Finally, on my third attempt in Cuba, I found a good massage! He worked for 30 minutes on just my back, getting in moderately deep and into the right points. I felt very much loosened up afterwards.

It was almost sunset time when I finished, so I went on photo patrol. The best I could do were the palms in Plaza Mayor. I got some okay shots before sunset and the post-sunset colors just fizzled away.
