Traveling with my friend Roy again, this time in Maine on our return home from Nova Scotia. I had scouted out a good place to be for sunset photos, and ended up in Bass Harbor. I got the sunset, but then continued to wait, as I often do, for the post-sunset sky to get some amazing colors.
The mosquitoes were biting, but the light was good. Patient Roy was getting restless, so in an uncommon move I offered to treat us to a lobster dinner. That did the trick! The mosquitoes had their dinner, I got my photos, we got our dinner, and the only losers were the lobsters.
