I don’t usually do the “resort thing”, but I got an invitation from my good friend and fellow photographer, Johnny Araujo, to join him on a short trip to the Dominican Republic. Since that is his country of origin, I thought I would be able to see things from a non-tourist perspective.

 It was a fun time, and a few days of chilling out on the beach and experimenting with video and some photo techniques was just great. This image had a bit of post-production work done to it, including boosting structure, contrast, and saturation.
