Yes, Da Bronx! I know that this is not the first image that comes to mind when one thinks of the Bronx, but this is in Pelham Bay Park, one of the largest parks in New York City. It is near my home, and I sometimes come here for a walk, a bike ride, or if conditions are right, a cross-country ski workout!

 On this beautiful late summer day, I was walking with my wife and her mother. I liked the gentle lapping of the tiny waves over the grass. I did some things in post-production to make it look more like a painting. These include increasing the detail, contrast and saturation, then smoothing it all out.
