This was another image taken on a trip to the southwestern US as I tried to escape a New York winter. I was visiting some of our national parks and camping along the way.

I really enjoyed these parks, as the vegetation is very different from what I have in the Northeast. I did a lot of hiking and poking about with my camera.

This image was taken fairly close to my campsite. I metered for the sky, then bracketed my exposure to make sure I nailed it. This is probably about 30 seconds at f/8 at ISO 100.
