It seemed that wherever I was looking I was finding photographic possibilities in this fascinating historic city. I wandered across to the other side of the river, and was intrigued by the Roman Bridge from this view.

Although it was the middle of the day and the light was strong, a time usually not best for photography, I liked the strength of the stone and the contrast of the clouds and sky. I converted the image to black and white, and further increased the contrast to get this result. I was quite happy with it. What do you think?
