Since the opening of the Freedom Tower, I have been thinking that it was time to update the NYC skyline photos in my library. It was an early start one morning to drive to the base of the Brooklyn Bridge and get myself situated before sunrise.

I got my camera and tripod set up and waited until Mother Nature started to turn on the lights. I find that some of the best light happens just before sunrise, so I was using longer exposures to capture this lower level of light.
