The Alcázar of Segovia is a dramatic structure, and it captured my attention as soon as I saw it. I challenged myself to photograph it in as many different ways as I could during my few days in Segovia.

I was up before dawn a couple of times to see what the morning light had to offer. I did some work in the late afternoon from the top of the hill at the entrance to to building. I caught it with moody clouds drifting across the sky after sunset.
