We left the hotel at 4:30 this morning and were picked up by a motorbike driver who shuttled us over, one at a time to our shooting location. I had told Minh that I thought 4:30 was very early because there wouldn't be any kind of light yet, but we still went because he thought the lights of the boats might be interesting. The lights of the boats were not that interesting, and mother nature did not cooperate with a beautiful sunrise. We did have a good vantage point from second-floor balcony at the confluence of the five Rivers.
