I met my motorbike driver for my afternoon tour. It didn’t start off too auspiciously, as we discovered that because of my additional weight on the bike, that the tire was very low. He left me on the side of the road outside of Monywa, explaining to me in Burmese and sign language that he would get the tire fixed and return for me soon.

We went out to Thanboddhay Paya and then to Bodhi Tataung. The standing and reclining Buddha images are huge and very impressive.
