I had a couple of days in Madrid before I traveled to northern Spain. It was fun to walk around the city to see what visual treats it had in store for me. I liked Retiro Park, and was drawn in to this composition by the red umbrella and the boats in the background leading the eye to the Monument to Alfonso XII.
