Up at 4:45 to get picked up by Minh's contact, Van, by taxi. We took a short ride to the water taxi station and soon were underway. It was supposed to be a 1-hour ride, but was about 1.75 hrs. We started at 5:30 in the dark, and got to see day break on the river. No sunrise because of some clouds and rain.
