An early start today to catch sunrise. I left the hotel on my motorbike at 5:15 to head to Angkor Wat. I was amazed at the crowds there. There are enough to visitors to warrant breakfast and drink bars, which I was pleased to patronize. However, I was not prepared for the thousands of people who had walked up close for sunrise viewing. I don't remember for sure, but I think when I was here last time there were only about a half dozen people around for sunrise. It blows me away!
