I drove out via Study Butte, along Route 170 west to Presidio. A very beautiful road, with lots of ups and downs, and quick turns Some nice views of the Rio Grande, and plenty of mountains.
Headed north on Route 67 to Marfa, stopping enroute for mountain sunset pix. I just finished a mediocre Mexican dinner at Carmen’s Cafe. I didn’t feel like cooking.
Stopped for the night at a roadside picnic area east of Alpine.
