From the Journals...Entesekera, Kenya. March 1, 1981Today included more logistics, cleaning, and preparations for tonight’s party celebrating the end of our small group hikes. (This has been the best hike I have ever been on. The countryside is fantastic, the weather was quite favorable, our campsites have been really nice, and we have a great group.)
I got snagged as Leader of the Day. We had a buying session from a few Maasai. We had 3 goats killed today for dinner and made tons of food to serve our many guests. After dinner we sang and danced with the Maasai. I started roll 13 in my XA, and also got a few shots of the Maasai with my tele, as well as of Daniel and others skinning the goats.
