Mkuze Game Reserve, South Africa.Thirsty Rhinos Upon arriving in Mkuzi Game Reserve, we checked out the campsite, and then stopped in at a hide for a look. Saw a white rhino and zebra. Drove up to reception, and ended up booking huts again in Mantuma Camp, mainly for the convenience. Also, at $11.66 per night per person, it can’t be beat.

It started with 2 white rhinos, and had brief visits from vervets, hadeda ibis, nyala, wildebeeste, impala, warthogs, more rhinos, and others.

Male Nyala, (Tragelaphus angasii), Kumasinga Pan. Mkuzi Game Reserve, South Africa.Male Nyala Anderson made a great dinner with sliced steak marinated in ginger, and cooked with black soy beans, red peppers, and garlic. On the side--small dried fish done with the same ingredients.
