Breakfast in BurmaWoman watches as her ejagwe is deep-fried by street vendor. Bago, Myanmar (Burma).
My wife and I were having breakfast at a small restaurant open to the street. Just outside there was a vendor deep-frying ejagwe, the Burmese version of delicious but unhealthy breakfast food.
This woman stopped by to place her order, and I took a couple of photos. I really like the foreground silhouettes of the frying pan and the cook as framing devices. They add depth.
