From the Journals... Monywa, Myanmar (Burma). February 10, 2014
Just south of town, we got a flat tire, so he instructed me to wait at the side of the road until he returned. He was back in about 45 minutes, and we carried on.
Our first stop was Thanboddhay Paya, about 7 miles south of Monywa. It is an unusual temple because it has loads of mini-stupas, all painted gold. The late afternoon light on the gold stupas with the blue sky made for a dramatic image. I thought the black and white version was dramatic as well. I posted them both to let you decide.
