Desert PlantsDesert PlantsKalahari-Gemsbok National Park, South Africa Up at 6, and on the road at 6:30.Saw lots of fresh lion tracks in the sand on the road, but no lions. Saw ostriches, gemsbok, black-backed jackal cubs, bat-eared foxes, tawny eagle, many weaver nests, etc. Pix of springbok.

The road alone the Nossob River had been partially reopened, so we took that. A couple of challenging sections. Finally saw the red dunes I had been expecting along the road crossing back to the Auob River.

Had lunch back at Twee Rivieren Camp at 1:30. Now in car en route to Uppington.
